During the climactic trial in the final chapter, Cosimo says that the
battle of Perugia was "eight years ago". Two sentences
later, Galeotto says that his scar taken at Perugia has served him for
thirteen years. I find no explanation for this discrepancy.
And both are wrong; at the time, Perugia had been fought seven years and
two months earlier.
